As we’ve sought the Lord and strategized together, we have developed the following plan to help us make a bold impact for decades to come:
Implement a vision-casting 3-year campaign starting Spring 2024 to communicate and fund the vision:
  • To help us continue to be a spiritual oasis, a house full of life in our community and region.
  • To raise the capital needed to invest in our facility and programs so we can continue to connect people to Jesus.
  • Create new opportunities for our church family to give away the love of Jesus to those near and far in a tangible way.

There are six primary needs we will be working on: Replacing ⅔ of our roof (over the auditorium, kids wing, and lobby – the other ⅓ was replaced in 2023), upgrading our HVAC system, installing a new lighting system in the auditorium, updating our audio/visual tech (most of our system now uses obsolete technology), replacing carpet in numerous areas of the building, and updating/renovating our youth room for the first time since it was built.

 

We are also actively strategizing how to more effectively reach those in our community and region who don’t yet know Jesus. In other words, through this project, we’re simultaneously taking care of our house while inviting others to come experience the fullness of life with Jesus.

We will be prioritizing our projects as the finances come in from the campaign. The first priority will be replacing the leaking roof. The rest of the projects will follow.
We have numerous strategies, including (but not limited to) large-scale outreaches, mid-sized gatherings that meet felt needs in the region, and equipping our church family to lead those in their circles of influence to Christ. We will be continuing to seek the Lord for His “now” plans to reach those who don’t yet know Him, and we will be communicating those plans as they become solidified.

We know prayer is critical as we go on this new adventure. We can accomplish nothing apart from the grace and blessing of God! Regular prayer for the campaign will be a major factor in seeing the vision come to fruition. Please pray for God’s guidance through every step of this process. Please pray for the people who already call ELC home and those who will be coming. Please pray and ask the Lord for the amount He’s inviting you to contribute above your regular tithes and offerings.

We have plenty of onsite parking for all of our members and guests. Please feel free to use whatever spot you’re able to find and come on in!
